General Updates
Possa Bill, our enthusiastic PLS program mascot, plays a vital role in helping children engage with the PLS program. Integrating Possa Bill into your daily routines supports the development of a growth mindset and positive behaviour.
Here are some easy and effective ways to bring Possa Bill into your learning environment, tailored by age group:
Birth to 6 Years
• 🖼 Eye-Level Engagement: Display the Possa Bill poster at children’s eye level so it becomes a familiar and friendly part of their environment.
• 🏠 Create a Special place: Set up a dedicated space or "Special Place" for Possa Bill where children can see and interact with him daily. This helps build connection and continuity.
2 to 6 Years
• 🎶 Sing the Song: Introduce the Possa Bill Song from the media library. Use it during group time or transitions to reinforce key messages in a fun, repetitive and musical way.
• 🧠 Mottos for Mindset: Display the Possa Bill Motto poster at eye level. Explore and discuss mottos such as "Learning takes practice" during play and learning activities, especially when children are working on new skills like climbing, drawing, or dressing.
3 to 6 Years
• 📽 Watch and Reflect: Watch the "Possa Bill loves to learn" animation from the media library to prompt conversations about learning, effort, and persistence.
• 💬 Talk About Practice: Encourage children to share what they’re learning, practising, or finding challenging. Link their efforts to Possa Bill’s growth mindset messages to reinforce positive learning attitudes.
