Positive Living Skills has six core concepts for Early Childhood.
Highlights, Feelings, Focus, Relaxation, Co-Operation, and Self-Esteem. Each month, I will post one of the six core concept videos to help you learn about each concept.
Cooperation means working together. It means I listen to others. I watch what they do. We share and help each other.
The learning experiences within Cooperation introduce children to the concepts of working effectively with others in mutual support, to give and take and compromise, and to collaborate to achieve goals.
This learning engages children through play and activities, helping them identify what it means to work collaboratively and voluntarily with others to achieve tasks with a common purpose or benefit.
Children learn about achieving group goals and celebrating successes together and how they can work effectively with others to problem solve and achieve win-win outcomes.
Watch this short video on Cooperation and how you can help identify and teach children about a fully connected focus.
We would love to hear how the cooperation concept has helped in your learning environment for you, the children and the families. Share your experiences in the comments or shoot me an email: hailey@positivelivingskills.com
